At Vartamana we offer an array of yoga styles from vinyasa flow to very relaxing yin classes, as we all need a variety from time to time. All of our instructors are trained in a variety of linages, they are there to ensure you are safe and assist with any quires, injuries or concerns you may have.
YOGA STYLES
VINYASA FLOW
Vinyasa meaning to move with the breath, this is a dynamic class combining flexibility, strength and balance. Ignite your inner fire, Vinyasa will promote vitality & energy. In this supportive environment take the time to foster an understanding and confidence for students to approach these more dynamic classes.
FUSION
Suitable for beginners and all Yogis. This is a fantastic place to start your yoga practice. The Fusion class is a set sequence of Asana (postures) derived from the popular Bikram sequence and woven together with Vinyasa Flow. Expect to feel energized whilst relaxed and as though you have give yourself an amazing Thai Massage! As this sequence targets the whole body system and mind.
YIN YOGA
This Yin class aims to relax body and mind, gentle movements and the assistance of props will help you hold poses for longer and will assist in relieving stress and tension from the body. Yin yoga aim to stectch the connective tissue surround the muscles and joints. This is more of a passive practice. Perfect to reduce stress levels and unwind. A great class for everyone if you need a little chill time.
ASHTANGA YOGA
This class is suitable for all, from complete beginners or for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the practice. This class breaks down the fundamentals of asana (yoga poses) and explores the breath (pranayama). During this class you will be guided through a set series of asana giving you time to explore the posture and your potential. Intended to be a daily practice this powerful, healing practice. Ashtanga is an athletic flow combining strength, flexibility and stamina for a complete practice.
INFERNO HOT PILATES
Our Hot Pilates class is High Intensity (low impact) Interval Training (HIIT) with Pilates elements, set to fun music that combines cardio and muscle toning in a heated room. Pilates principles help sculpt your body, create long lean muscle mass and improve muscle strength. The tabata interval training technique is used throughout this class which works to increase the body’s aneorbic and aerobic capacity. Each class is different but uses the same principles. Classes incorporate weights and bands. The class is conducted in a room heated to 30-32 degrees celsius with a humidity of 40%. It’s high energy, upbeat and you’ll get one of the best workouts you’ve ever had! These classes are suitable for all levels of fitness from beginners through to regular students and is a fabulous complement to your yoga practice.

HOT 60
This class is suitable for all, from complete beginners or for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the practice.
The room is intentionally heated to 32C degrees and about 40% humidity to warm up the body and assist with circulation, promoting detoxification and providing optimum conditions to improve the functions of the body’s internal systems.
The heat provides a challenging environment which increases your strength, concentration, endurance and stamina. It also allows you to work safely and deeply into the postures.
Special sequencing focusing on spinal lengthening, core strengthening and hip & heart opening. This is a Long Slow & Deep class that will challenge the ego to stay quiet and extremely meditative. Experience the benefits of holding the poses a little longer and going deep...
POWER
Embrace the power within and the power in the present. During the Power class expect to move with purpose with strong holds of rhythmic flowing sequences. Build strength in
body and mind and deepen your practice with our amazing teachers.
